About Collette Costello

Welcome,

I am Collette Costello, a designer from Manchester UK. I have combined my two passions, creativity and camping, to bring you my range of camping blankets and accessories.

Hygge Inspired

I want to help more people get outdoors more often, because it supports wellbeing and strengthens relationships with friends and family. Inspired by the Danish concept of hygge, I design camping blankets made for comfort, connection, and time spent in nature.

A different way to camp

I want to change camping from something that feels like an endurance test to something much simpler, a relaxed day in nature. That is why I have brought you my collection of blankets and camping accessories, designed to keep you cosy outdoors and bring people together more often.

Where it all started

Camping is my passion, yet surprisingly, it was not until I was an adult that I took my first trip, and then I was hooked.

Since then, camping has allowed me to see the world and to stay in some of the most amazing locations, whilst sharing memories with my friends and family.

I have done everything from backpacking across Europe with a tent strapped to my back to visiting family festivals in vintage caravans, and camping on beaches in my VW campervan.

As much as I love camping, I find most camping gear to be plain, uninspiring, and lacking joy. That is why I started using my hand-drawn prints, inspired by my travels, to make blankets for camping.

Promoting sustainabilty

Sustainability is at the heart of my designs, and I proudly make all my blankets in the UK, so I can be sure they are ethically made with love.
