About Collette Costello

Welcome,

I am Collette Costello, a designer from Manchester, UK. I have combined my passions, crafts, wellbeing and nature to bring you my range of hygge knitted handbags.

Some of my favourite days have been spent enjoying hygge moments in nature, camping or stargazing in my back garden at home with friends, family and my dog. Now I want to help you find your hygge moment.

A woman wearing sunglasses, a polka-dot top, and a cardigan walking a medium-sized brown dog on a leash along a grassy coastal path overlooking the sea.

Where it all started

My Nanna Betty taught me how to sew and knit when I was a little girl. We spent many cosy Sundays chatting, crafting and sharing stories.

Handbags are hand knitted to bring an extra cosy, homely feel, while celebrating sustainable craft traditions passed down through generations of women.

I hope you enjoy snuggling up with my hygge-inspired knitted handbags and creating your own special moments as much as I enjoyed creating them.
